Our new cabins - Wood Duck Lodge and the Trout Trap Lodge offer two of the best deals on North Georgia Cabins. Both luxury four bedroom cabins offer views of the river from every room. These cabins can accommodate up to 16 guests, which provides the perfect setting for Family Reunions, Romantic Getaways, Church Retreats and memorable Family Vacations. For larger groups, book both cabins for a total space to comfortably sleep 32 people. These cabins are located just two lots apart offering privacy yet easy access for your larger group gatherings.
The Cabins
Both Wood Duck Lodge and Trout Trap Lodge were designed and constructed to harmonize with the surrounding environment. The split wood and shake siding, along with the green metal roofs, evoke images of the old time log cabin, and fast moving Mountain Town Creek, directly in front of the cabins, provides many hours of kayaking, fishing, wading or just losing oneself in the gurgling! On entering the cabins you will notice that they have been planned around large family or group entertaining. Large picture windows virtually bring the river into the cabin, state of the art stainless steel appliances equip the kitchen, and new, comfortable, high quality furniture can be found throughout. Each of the main floors has a Master Suite with whirlpool tub, and a second floor loft area provides extra room for fun and games, as well as futons for sleeping. The main floor includes a flat panel satellite TV with Surround Sound, and the bedrooms are equipped with satellite TV's.
Downstairs is the safe, secure kids retreat, although the adults can rarely keep themselves away for too long! In addition to two bedrooms there is a games room with foosball, stacks of board games, and an electronic arcade machine with all the favorite arcade games; Ms Pacman, Frogger, Space Invaders, Galaga, Mario Bros. etc. etc. for hours of fun!
Directly outside from the games room is the large, 7 person hot tub, where you can spend hours relaxing and looking down across the river. Both cabins include large decks and plenty of outdoor furniture where you can while away the sultry mountain afternoons. Gas grills, plumbed to the cabin gas supply, are also provided for our guests. After the sun goes down, Trout Trap Lodge has an outdoor fireplace for you to enjoy, while Wood Duck Lodge has a firepit and patio area down beside the river.
